Evolectric launches Gen3 CircularEV Kit to make electrification practical for work trucks

Evolectric, which builds electric conversion kits for fleets of internal-combustion engine trucks, debuted its Gen3CircularEV Kit. The new kit combines the highest available range and payload with the shortest available wheelbase for work truck electrification, the company said, without having to sacrifice customization options. The kit is compatible with Class 3-5 Isuzu models, supports 12-foot body sizes and includes CATL battery technology that offers up to 150 miles (241 km) of range.

The converted truck is eligible for California incentives, and the upfront cost of a conversion, the company contends, is 55% less than the cost of new trucks. The kit’s other features include V2G readiness, safety enhancements and integrated ePTO and eTRU support.

“Our Gen3 Kit represents the culmination of years of engineering focused on real-world fleet needs,” said Bill Beverley, Co-Founder of Evolectric. “By delivering leading energy density, flexible chassis integration, and advanced V2G and ePTO capabilities, we’re redefining what’s possible in commercial electrification.”
