IVECO BUS wins a tender for 120 electric buses in Italy

IVECO BUS has been awarded a public tender to supply 120 E-WAY electric city buses to the Italian public transport company Autoguidovie Group.

The vehicles will be deployed in the various areas served by Autoguidovie, and deliveries will begin in the second half of 2023.

The E-WAY comes in four length configurations, including 9.5, 10.7, 12 and 18 meters. It supports several battery configuration choices with varying ranges, and can be charged slowly overnight or more rapidly using a pantograph.

“We are honored by the trust that customers throughout Europe are placing in our company and our vehicles, and we are glad to be contributing to the ongoing global evolution of public transport toward a zero-emission future,” said Domenico Nucera, President of Iveco Group’s Bus Business Unit.
