India-based Li-ion battery maker Cellforce has chosen the Siemens Xcelerator open digital business platform for production of its premium-segment EV batteries.
According to Cellforce, the two companies will collaborate along the entire battery design and manufacturing process. Siemens will provide product life-cycle management, manufacturing execution systems, industrial edge computing and tools for IT/OT connectivity. Cellforce will produce batteries at scale while meeting throughput, cost and sustainability targets.
