Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Skycharger partner to provide EV charging infrastructure funding

Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a provider of gas pumps and related technology, has partnered with EV charging network Skycharger to introduce a program to provide fuel retailers and fleets with new financing and service options for EV charging infrastructure.

The EVerse Fully Hosted program is designed to address funding gaps that persist despite help from such federal government initiatives as the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program. Site hosts are offered a way, at no cost to them, to acquire, deploy and maintain EV charging infrastructure from Gilbarco.

“We recognize that funding EV charging infrastructure remains a key hurdle for fuel retailers, and are delighted to partner with Skycharger to bring a zero-cost opportunity to our customers,” said Deepesh Nayanar, Gilbarco’s Head of North America e-Mobility.

Skycharger, with its funding capability, will deploy a white-labeled version of Gilbarco’s  EVerse managed service to site hosts seeking a simple option for installing EV charging.
