Rove builds full-service EV fast charging stations at Gelson’s markets

Southern California-based EV charging network Rove, in collaboration with grocery chain Gelson’s, has begun construction in Santa Ana of the first of a planned 20 full-service charging centers in the region.

Each station, equipped with 40 DC fast chargers, will include an approximately 5,000-square-foot Gelson’s market offering meals, deli items, beverages and grocery staples. Other customer amenities will include a 24/7 indoor lounge, outdoor seating, Wi-Fi and an eco-friendly car wash at selected locations.

“As a Costa Mesa-based company, we knew we wanted a partner from the Southern California area who could offer our customers the chance to recharge with fresh local products,” said Rove CEO Nathan McDonnell.
