InoBat produces its first EV batteries in Slovakia

Slovakian EV battery manufacturer InoBat has produced its first batteries at its factory in Voderady, Slovakia, having obtained all its required certifications and initiated production of its first cells.

The production line has the capacity to manufacture 50,000 battery cells annually. Its 35 machines cover the complete production process from preparing anode and cathode mixtures to final formation and aging, using high-speed layering technology.

InoBat is also planning a joint 40 GWh gigafactory in Šurany with Chinese company Gotion InoBat Batteries (GIB).

“We not only manufacture batteries but also design and tailor them to meet each customer’s needs. This process requires exceptional knowledge and specialized skills, and I am proud that we have developed it in Slovakia,” said InoBat CEO Marián Boček.
