Vianode receives OEM qualification for its battery anode graphite

Norwegian battery materials company Vianode has achieved product qualification with a leading OEM, confirming the industrial-scale production capabilities of its anode graphite for EV batteries.

The materials were produced at Vianode’s full-scale Via ONE plant in Norway, which started operation in October 2024.

Full approval for commercial delivery from Via ONE is a key step that paves the way for the scale-up to production at Via TWO.

“The materials produced at Via ONE not only fulfil physical powder specifications but also meet the demanding chemical anode material requirements for first cycle efficiency, fast charge and capacity,” says Bridget Deveney, Vianode’s VP Product Development & Applications.
