EV charging software provider ChargeLab has launched the beta version of Spark, which is designed for proactive EV charger monitoring and maintenance.
The software is targeted at large-scale network operations, such as DC fast charging networks, turnkey installation firms, fleets and other managers of commercial EV chargers.
Spark has been in alpha development since September 2023. This beta launch broadens customer access and adds the new Analyze with Spark button to the ChargeLab dashboard, allowing users to call ChargeLab’s AI. A large language model simplifies the results of diagnostic analysis of issues that have already occurred into easy-to-understand summaries for remote troubleshooting.
A separate Signals tab on the dashboard proactively monitors for problems before they arise through the use of dynamic pattern recognition to extract actionable insights from raw OCPP logs and system events.
“We’re excited to introduce Spark to a wider set of customers,” said ChargeLab CTO Ehsan Mokhtari. “These tools were designed to simplify the complex work of managing EV chargers.”
