HBK launches cloud-based FMEA software with AI-powered insights

Testing and measurement company Hottinger Brüel & Kjær (HBK) has released a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) version of its failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) software, Reliasoft Cloud to support centralized management.

ReliaSoft Cloud uses artificial intelligence (AI)-powered insights, intuitive risk visualization and team collaboration for improved decision-making and scalability.

The single, web-based platform helps streamline FMEA processes, providing secure access and dynamic dashboards to visualize risk and track design improvements.

HBK’s sensors and software support testing and measurement in a range of applications, from building more aerodynamic aircraft to testing the safety of automotive vehicles. They can monitor assets throughout their production cycle.

“The launch of Reliasoft Cloud represents the next step in our continued effort to improve our customers’ engineering processes,” said Jon Aldred, Director of Product Management for Software. “In particular, the inclusion of AI-powered insights will greatly accelerate innovation by allowing engineers to make better decisions, faster.”
