Octopus offers discounted charging through FleetBoost

Businesses with electric fleets can now access discounted public EV charging at Octopus’s network of chargers through the company’s new FleetBoost scheme.

The Octopus Fleet platform combines various methods of payment for EV charging services, including automated reimbursement for home charging, public charging and a Visa-backed Fleet Card for mixed fleets.

Octopus says FleetBoost could reduce a customer’s EV charging bills by up to 30%.

Three charge point operators (CPOs)—MFG EV Power, IONITY and Be.EV—have joined FleetBoost as partners.

Octopus Fleet founder Matt Davies said: “Businesses need charging to be affordable, reliable and easy for drivers to use, and we’re tackling this all in one go. By bringing together some of the UK’s biggest charging brands, we can help accelerate the transition to commercial EVs and slash the cost of public charging for businesses.”

MFG EV Power EV Director Martin Symes said: “Making public charging genuinely affordable is the single biggest unlock for fleet electrification, and FleetBoost does exactly that, real savings at thousands of MFG EV Power bays nationwide.”
